Name of the Patient : Abc XyzAmbelmn / F / 59 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyztel.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Brain.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O numbness in the LUE and LLE with slurred speech since 2 days.

EXAMINATION :

M.R.I of the brain was performed using the following parameters :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted, proton and T2 Weighted axial images.

5 mm thick FLAIR coronal images.

OBSERVATION :

There is no focal area of altered signal intensity in the brain parenchyma.

A hyperintense focus is seen on the proton and T2 Weighted images in the left temporal region (scans 102.8, 103.8) is probably partial volume averaging with the sulcus.

Both the lateral, third and the fourth ventricles are normal. The basal cisternal spaces are unremarkable. There is no shift of the midline structures. No obvious vascular anomaly is identified on this study.

Inflammatory changes are noted in the left mastoid air cells and maxillary sinus on the left side.

IMPRESSION :

Normal study of the Brain.
