Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzdali H. Telmn / M / 74 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzhta.
Examination : Neck M.R.A.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

H/O altered sensorium (on and off) and gait ataxia since 2 years.
H/O loss of bladder control since 2-3 months.
Known diabetic.

EXAMINATION :

The neck MRA was performed with 2D TOF sequence.

FEW IMAGES SHOW PATIENT MOTION.

OBSERVATION :

NECK MRA :

The common carotid arteries and their bifurcations and the vertebral arteries on either side show normal signal. The visualized external and internal carotid arteries are also unremarkable.

There are no vessel wall irregularities or stenosis of the vessels noted.

IMPRESSION :

CLINICAL PROFILE :

Known hypertensive/diabetic/IHD.
H/O epilepsy since 0000.

EXAMINATION :

Intracranial and neck MRA were performed with 3D TOF and 2D TOF sequences, respectively.

OBSERVATION :

INTRACRANIAL MRA :

The petrous, cavernous and supraclinoid segments of the internal carotid arteries bilaterally show normal signal and calibre. The visualized anterior cerebral, middle cerebral, basilar, vertebral and posterior cerebral arteries also show normal signal, calibre and wall margins. No obvious aneurysm or vascular malformation is identified.

NECK MRA :

The common carotid arteries and their extracranial branches appear normal bilaterally. There are no vessel wall irregularities or stenosis of the vessels noted.

IMPRESSION :

No significant abnormality detected within the brain parenchyma or intracranial /neck MRA on this study.

Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzram Chaudlmn / M / 59 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc XyzShah.
Examination : Intracranial and Neck M.R.A.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

C/O pain, weakness and inability to lift up the LUE since 00.00.00 and slurred speech.
Known diabetic & hypertensive. On Rx.

EXAMINATION :

The brain was screened with the help of 5 mm thick T2 Weighted axial images .

Intracranial and neck MRA were performed with 3D TOF and 2D TOF sequences, respectively.

FEW IMAGES SHOW PATIENT MOTION.

OBSERVATION :

Areas of hyperintensity on the T2 Weighted images are noted within the white matter in the fronto-parietal lobes, lentiform nuclei and corona radiata bilaterally and within the right cerebral peduncle and these are most likely ischemic in etiology. A probable recent ischemic lesion is noted in the left corona radiata.

There is fullness of the third and both the lateral ventricles. There is prominence of the basal cisternal spaces, cerebral cortical sulci and cerebellar folia bilaterally. There is no shift of the midline structures.

Inflammatory changes are seen in the right maxilllary sinus.

NECK MRA :

There is tortuousity of the neck vessels.

The common carotid arteries and their extracranial branches appear normal bilaterally. There are no vessel wall irregularities or stenosis of the vessels noted.

.IMPRESSION :

The MRA features are suggestive of :

1. Areas of altered signal within the white matter in the fronto-parietal lobes, lentiform nuclei and corona radiata bilaterally and within the right cerebral peduncle are most likely ischemic in etiology.

2. No significant abnormality detected on the intracranial or neck MRA on this study.
