Name of the Patient : Abc Xyzhamesh Jlmn / M / 11 yrs.
Referred by : Dr. Abc Xyzah.
Examination : M.R.I. of the Dorso-lumbar Spine.

CLINICAL PROFILE :

H/O no control over bladder since birth.

EXAMINATION :

M.R.I of the dorso-lumbar spine was performed using the following parameters :

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted sagittal images.

5 mm thick T1 Weighted and T2 Weighted axial images.

OBSERVATION :

The visualized dorso-lumbar vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs reveal normal signal intensity. The facet joints and the visualized pre and paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.

There appears to be a spina bifida at S1 level.

The visualized dorso-lumbar spinal cord reveals normal signal intensity. The intrathecal roots show normal distribution.

The conus medullaris terminates at the L1 level and the thecal sac terminates at the S1 level.

There is no evidence of any spinal cord tethering.

IMPRESSION :

No significant abnormality detected on this study.

There is no evidence of spinal cord tethering.
